My Style: Ivory & Denim

Old, abandoned train tracks and bridges can make interesting settings for a photo shoot.  While exploring some historic sites, I wore a denim-on-denim look.  I hope the shredded denim look never goes out of style--I truly love the relaxed chicness of distressed material.  To the denim blues, I added a lovely ivory lace top and a handsome ivory purse.   Finishing the look, I added an assortment of rings, ombré sunglasses, and stunning Coach sandals in gunmetal grey.  Hope you like this outfit and, as always, I wish you the best day! Xoxo, Shelly

My Style: Moto Magic

A major plus to living in northern Arizona:  living 10 minutes away from paradises like this, Lynx Lake.   Although the temperatures are low this time of year, I always love sightseeing and exploring different photoshoot locations.  To stay warm, I styled this look with multiple layers, a high-low tank top, a soft sweater, and a light denim jacket.  My favorite part of the look is the moto pants.  After working hard, I decided to treat myself to an early Christmas present.  I have been searching online for the perfect pair and I found them for a great price with an excellent fit.  It was a risk but it worked out.  I love when that happens.  By the way, since I have been on winter break and catching up on some R&R, I have a few movie recommendations!  If any of you of looking for some romances, I definitely recommend In Your Eyes (instant watch on Netflix) and If I Stay (DVD for rent)!  Xoxo, Shelly

My Style: Roses are Red

Today's Look:  is all about creating a Valentine's Day outfit that is worthy of Blair from Gossip Girl.  Being a strong, fearless trendsetter, Blair was always my favorite character.  What better way to find fashion inspiration than the fictional OG of fashion herself.  To start the look off, I first chose the sleek, leatherette skater skirt and sophisticated black blouse.  I always love mixing edgy pieces with classic ones.  Next, I chose opaque black tights and cut-out ankle booties.  Not quite done with winter, the Arizona breeze still has a certain bitter chill in it.  To stay warm, while fabulous, I chose a plaid peacoat that brings together burgundy, black, and red.  Finishing off the look, I wore a red and gold detailed purse, a gold watch, two rings, and gold stud earrings.  Now, all I need is a Valentine's date. . . Harry Styles, call me ;)

Outfit Details:  Blouse, Purse, & Earrings courtesy of Charlotte Russe , Skirt from charlotterusse.com, Coat from Old Navy (Scottsdale, Arizona),  Boots by Merona at Target (Prescott, Arizona), Tights by HUE at Dillard's (Prescott, Arizona), Watch and Bedazzled Ring from Charming Charlie (Tucson, Arizona), Gold Band from Premiere Designs.

Fashion Tip:  For a chic and cozy Valentine's Day outfit, burgundy is a great way to dress in the spirit of the holiday while not being over-the-top.

My Style: City Hipster

Today's Look: channels the business chic of the city with a quirky flare.  First, I chose a white graphic tee featuring the word "HIPSTER" across the chest in black lettering, accented with red stars.  To match the red stars, I chose my bright red, skinny jeans, which I rolled up at the ankles.  Next, I chose my thin, strappy black heels and black blazer to add a classy yet edgy vibe to the outfit.  Finishing off the look, I wore two rings, silver sparkly studs, and jeweled, black sunglasses.

Outfit Details:  Shirt c/o Charlotte Russe , Blazer by Silence + Noise at urbanoutfitters.com, Jeans by Lauren Conrad at Kohl's (Prescott, Arizona), Shoes from Express (Scottsdale, Arizona), Sunglasses from Old Navy (Tucson, Arizona), Earrings from Aeropostale (Tucson, Arizona), Faith Ring from Premiere Designs Jewelry, Crystal Ring from Dillard's (Prescott, Arizona).

Fashion Tip:  Adding a black blazer to any outfit adds class that is sure to rack up multiple compliments.

To be fabulous and tailored this fall, below I included a selection of black blazers.

My Style: Grunge Plaid

Today's Look:  is all about the major fall trend of plaid and return of 1990's grunge.  To start the look off, I first chose a white graphic tee featuring the word "FAMOUS" printed across the chest and gray skinny jeans.  Since the morning had a chilly breeze, I wanted to pick a thick, warm coat.  I chose a red plaid peacoat and rolled up the sleeves to make it less wintery and more appropriate for fall.  Next, I chose black military boots, a backpack, and round sunglasses.  Finishing off the look, I wore red lipstick, two rings, black and silver stacked bracelets, and a black gentleman's hat.

Outfit Details: Top c/o Charlotte Russe , Jeans from Express (Scottsdale, Arizona), Jacket from Old Navy (was a gift), Boots by Steve Madden at nordstrom.com, Backpack by PINK at Victoria's Secret (Prescott, Arizona), Hat by Hengshu at oasap.com, Sunglasses from urbanog.com, Earrings at Sally's Beauty Supply (Prescott, Arizona), Rings from Premiere Designs Jewelry, Bracelets were a gift.

Fashion Tip:  Fall weather can be very unpredictable, especially at the beginning of the season.  In the morning, the temperature can be freezing, but in the afternoon, it can be hot.  Because of this, I suggest wearing a nice light top or layers underneath a sweater or coat.  This way you're prepared for the cold, but also can take off your warm pieces to cool off.

This fall, red plaid jackets from preppy to grunge are a major trend.
