My Style: Shake Your Pom Poms

Today's Look: is all about celebrating the hot pom pom trim trend! I was so excited when one of my favorite stores, Missguided, contacted me to collab to show off this amazing dress that is ideal for summer. The pink shades and floral print make me think of tropical paradise and summer love (perfect for vacationing in Tucson, Arizona, at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort). I styled the dress with some of my favorite new accessories including navy socks from Soxxy, a delicate bracelet from Etsy artist Lesli Neal of firesky7, my iPad decked out in a beautiful skin from Clique Boutique, and pink sunglasses from Flagstaff's finest a.k.a. Basement Marketplace. I wore white platforms with the socks to show off their unique knit and finished the look with a simple silver necklace, two rings, and blue crystal stud earrings. You can't see all of it, but the resort I'm vacaying at has beautiful vegetation and scenery. You'll get a glimpse of the resort's waterfall in an upcoming post! My Style: I Don't Camp

Today's Look: is about my new fav tank from GoodGirlTees.com. Good Girl Tees carries a ton of sassy/amazing slogan tops and tees. When I saw this tank top, it was love at first sight! This is my new first date top, because I don’t like to camp and every guy needs to know that from the get go. Now, don’t get me wrong--I like to river raft, kayak, hike, mountain bike, sit around the camp fire, and roast marshmallows just as much as the next person, but I need to sleep in a clean, safe environment. Once every few years, I can suck it up and go camping, but, most of the time, I tell the guys to go and have fun. But never fear, I am always willing to help with the cookout for dinner and especially the S’mores around the campfire, as long as I have a hotel reservation nearby. haha Getting back to the clothes. . . to style the top, I added a vintage plaid shirt from Beta Apparel, F21 denim cutoffs, and Vans sneakers—I was born in the ‘90s and seem to eternally love the grunge style from that decade even though I was very young. I have been addicted to oversized plaid shirts for a little while now, and I was stoked with this one from Beta Apparel. It's vintage, so used, but it's still great quality. Accessorizing, I added my favorite choker, designed and created by PYKNIC2, and two new delicate bracelets, designed and created by Blue Suede Bracelet. Discovering two artists who are creative and price their jewelry reasonably is a treasure I wanted to pass onto my readers. I hope you’re having a great weekend! My Style: Velours Rouge

Today's Look: was styled with one of the hottest trends in mind: 90's grunge. First, I started with this stunning red crushed velvet dress from Immediate Fashion Company. The ankle length hem and spaghetti straps reminded me so much of 1990's styling which totally called for platform sandals and a choker. To update the staple pieces of the classic ensemble, I wore leather platforms with nice thick straps and a layered choker made of leather with a silver-plated, bedazzled bead; back in the '90s, platform flip flops and plastic chokers were all the rage. I styled the dress, sandals, and necklace with a skull lace kimono, multiple rings, a silver cuff bracelet, and a jewelry hair clip from Floaters, which gave the look a slightly more bohemian vibe. For any readers who may have missed my previous post featuring Immediate Fashion Company, they recently opened a new location at 2000 East Broadway Boulevard in Tucson, Arizona! Fashion Tip: I was so excited to showcase my first Floaters's hair accessory in this post, because I truly think they are the new "it" accessory. Anyone else remember when everyone came back to school after summer vacation with a feather weaved into their hair or the dyed neon color hair strip fad? My Style: Tropical Paradise

Today's Look: shows how to rock pleated tribal-print, high-waisted shorts and matching crop top while on vacation. Simply add comfy sandals and bright lipstick and you're ready for a fun-filled day of exploring. As many of you know, I'm spending some vacay time in Cali right now.
