My Style: Shake It Off

Today's Look:  emphasizes the beauty of a bohemian-inspired festival styling.  A rose print, sheer kimono over a black lace crop top with embroidered denim cutoffs and cool, buckle sandals make such a comfortable yet beautiful combination.  As summer comes to an end in Arizona, so does the festival season.  But you will see me continue to style with bohemian touches.  I've discovered that one of my favorite fashion genres is what I like to call bohemian grunge.  I see it as bohemian with an edge, not total hippie, not total punk.  But maybe a relaxed combination somewhere in between.  To complete this outfit styling, I added round, metal lace sunnies, a crystal pendant necklace, a studded leather bracelet, and two pretty, tarnished gold rings.  Of particular note are the burgundy sandals--have you ever seen a pair of shoes that you couldn't resist?  Meet my buckle-adorned sandals in distressed leather with layered wood heels. :)  BTW, if you haven't heard Taylor Swift's brand new single, "Shake It Off", I highly recommend that you check it out.  It's definitely my anthem for the new school year!  I included her new video below for ya. Red Carpet Fashion: AMAs 2013

On Sunday, September 25, 2013, ABC hosted and aired its annual American Music Awards (AMAs).  The hottest musicians, actors/actresses, and TV personalities were in attendance.  Unlike the Grammys, whose awards are given based on the votes from members of the Recording Academy, the AMAs are determined by votes from the public and music buyers.  The show had unforgettable performances from Katy Perry, One Direction, Ariana Grande, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull & Kesha, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, and many more!  You can watch the performances from the awards show here.  It was an exciting night filled with music, celebrities, and, of course, fashion.  Below, I included some of the most memorable outfits from the event.  Enjoy!

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013

On Wednesday night, November 13, 2013, in New York, Victoria's Secret held its annul fashion show that once again brought guests to their feet for standing ovations.  Not only did they have sexy, dazzling designs, top models, and killer heels, but they also had live performances from chart-toppers including Fall Out Boy, A Great Big World, Neon Jungle, and the stellar Miss Taylor Swift.  Everyone who's anyone was in attendance for the show of the season.  For the general public, the show will air on December 10th on CBS.  Below, I have included previews of the new lingerie lines and sleepwear, but be sure to tune in on 12/10 to see the complete show.
