My Style: Striped Down

One of the coolest trends this spring is stripes with denim. I selected a jersey knit shift dress with a striped print and a flowing silhouette. The tailored fit top and the hem above the knee make this casual dress flattering for any body type and so comfy. I added a little boho flair with a dangling coin statement necklace and a knotted crocheted head wrap. For the denim piece, I chose an over-sized vest with dropped armholes. My favorite accessory of the styling is the pair of "flatforms," also called flat platforms. These espadrilles are chic and comfortable--perfect for your spring and summer wardrobes. My Style: Lacy LBD & White Denim

Today's Look: shows one of the reasons the MVP in a girl’s closet is the little black dress. The LBD’s capacity for reinvention is limitless. Personally, I love this dress because of its unique lace inserts around the waist and on the back. The effect adds a tad of sexiness while maintaining modesty. I decided to style the dress with Converse sneakers for a casual, comfortable afternoon of shopping. Plus, I love how the sneakers add a little tomboy touch. I also wore a white, shredded denim vest and my favorite clear clutch. Along with a silver cuff bracelet and rings, I accessorized with some Charlotte Russe sunglasses that feature a beautiful floral engraved design. When you put together three of your favorite closet pieces, for me it’s the LBD, the white vest, and the white sneakers, you can’t go wrong. Enjoy transforming your favorite little black dress. Fashion Tip: The LBD can be transformed by color accents in jewelry, shoes, and bags. You can add leather jackets, boyfriend sweaters, vests, or plaid shirts for layered looks. You can add statement jewelry and faux fur items for dressy nights out. You can add flats for brunch or shopping. The possibilities are endless! My Style: Young, Wild, & Free

Today's Look: is youthful with edgy embellishments and a tight mini dress, wild with animal print and fringe, and free in the spirit of risk taking. To start the look off, I first chose the form-fitting, leopard print dress and embellished, denim vest. I really like how the dress is flattering and sexy with its hip-hugging cut, yet modest with a nice length and mock turtle neck. The vest has a light acid wash finish which adds an '80s flare and metal studs on the collar that add an edge. To match the vest, I chose a dark embellished belt and stacked bracelets. For my recent birthday, I received my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell's and, of course, another Steve Madden purse. I couldn't wait to wear the pairing, so I chose to wear my new taupe, Lita boots and taupe, fringe purse. To finish off the look, I wore long, tarnished gold earrings and two rings.
