My Style: Others Follow Fall Lookbook

Today's Look:  is in collaboration with Others Follow (OF).  I was so excited when they approached me to participate in their Fall 2014 Instagram Lookbook.  You'll see a number of my fave bloggers on the OF Instagram during the next month; I highly recommend that you check out @OF_clothing.   First, you will love their clothes--total quality, incredible comfort, and chic style.  Second, you will adore their website, which happens to have one of the prettiest designs I have seen in awhile and that recommendation is coming from a critical graphic designer who wishes she had more time to up her game on her own blog :)  The photos, the poses, and the artwork are beautiful.  The dress I'm wearing is called the Agenda and it's a such a pretty geometric print that can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with opaque tights and combat boots.  The other article of clothing I selected was the Gavin jacket, a lovely plaid jacket with the softest sheared interior lining.  Absolutely wonderful threads!  Lastly, I added a pretty scarf, some funky shades, and an array of rings. Hope you enjoy these photos and the fall season that is upon us.  Xoxo, Shelly

Fashion Tip:  To stay warm in the cooler days of fall, you might try wearing opaque tights with boots when you wear a pretty dress.  Add a scarf and jacket and you can go into evening with comfort.

My Style: Sequins and Polka Dots

Today's Look:  includes a very colorful, sequined backpack, an oversized, comfy sweater, and  a pair of black, velvet polka-dotted jeans.  To start the funky look off, I first chose the snugly sweater.  This fall, I have been super selective when picking out sweaters.  I have seen lots of cute ones, but this one is thick (meaning good quality), black and white (classic color scheme), has polka dots and stripes (best of both worlds) and features buttons down the back middle (which is unique).  Second, I chose black skinny jeans with black velvet polka dots.  At first, I thought maybe polka dots with polka dots would be too much, but once I tried the pieces together I knew it was just right.  Next, to add some color and sparkles. I chose to wear a rainbow sequined backpack. Finishing off the look, I wore military boots, two rings, and black, round sunglasses.

My Style: Made in the '90s

Today's Look:  is military inspired with camouflage clothing, combat boots, and a whole lot of attitude.  To start the look off, I first chose the camo, zip-front jacket.  I love the military cut and decor buttons.  To make the long sleeve jacket more casual, I decided to roll up the sleeves and leave it unzipped.  Next, I knew I wanted to wear my black combat boots to keep the theme going, so I chose to wear my black v-neck that says "Made in the 90's."  To add edge, I chose a beige, spiked headband and pulled it in by wearing beige, lace shorts.  Finishing off the look, I wore a black fringed purse, tan bracelet, and stud earrings.

Outfit Details:  Jacket c/o Charlotte Russe ❤, Shirt from Forever 21 (Scottsdale, Arizona), Shorts by Sparkle and Fade at Urban Outfitters (Tucson, Arizona), Boots by Steve Madden at nordstrom.com, Bag by American Eagle at ae.com, Headband from Claire's (Tucson, Arizona), Earrings from Aeropostale (Scottsdale, Arizona), Bracelet from American Eagle (Tucson, Arizona).

Fashion Tip:  Adding a lace piece into an edgy outfit creates a feminine yet tough look that is attention worthy.
