My Style: Blue Da Ba Dee

Happy Thursday, everyone!  The month is coming to an end, and to finish it fabulously, here is my fourth #CharlotteLook for January.  The ensemble consists of a paisley print, shift dress with lovely crochet detailing on the sleeves, over-the-knee socks, tall boots, and a black hat.  Along with the crochet detailing, the dress has a beautiful cut-out back and shoulder design.  I always love finding unique pieces to add to my wardrobe.  The look is perfect for the warmer weather we have been blessed with lately.  I can't wait till spring is officially here.  BTW, if you're a 90's baby, you will probably be singing the song Blue (Da Ba Dee) in your head for the next hour. . . Sorry.  haha  Hope you all have a wonderful Friday and weekend!  Xoxo, Shelly

My Style: Wild West

Today's Look:  is a perfect mixture of city grunge and western boho.  One of my favorite new closet additions is this fringe jacket.  The jacket has beautiful brown coloring so I kept the rest of the outfit monochromatic faded black.  I wore the softest v-neck top and high-waisted, shredded denim shorts. Since the weather is chilly, I wore distressed tights underneath my shorts.  Finishing off the look, I added chokers, platform boots, and the best crossbody bag.  Enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at a scenic lake, making the best afternoon, especially after a stressful week.  Xoxo, Shelly

Beauty Tip:  A quick, easy, & affordable way to add volume and thickness to your hair is by wearing Crisace iHair!  The hair extensions don't require weaving or hair appointments--you can easily put them in your own hair and go.  I am so impressed with the natural hair that can be curled, straightened, and shampooed.  Watch the video below to see how easy application of iHair is!

My Style: School Girl

Today's Look: is about channeling my inner "Gossip Girl," styling like I'm ready to attend the Constance Billard School for Girls in New York City's Upper East Side with Blair Waldorf and Serena van der Woodsen.  The only difference is what I like to call "prepster grunge"--styling with a little edge.  Having fun with your fall fashion is what it's all about.  I love this ivory open-knit sleeveless sweater worn with a plaid mini skirt and over-sized black blazer.  Adding a classic choker layered with a pendant necklace and black tights with high platform booties combines the perfect touch of grunge styling.  A little burgundy lip color doesn't hurt either :)  I hope you're loving fall; I'm finishing up intense projects for my college courses.  Wish me luck!  Xoxo, Shelly

Beauty Tip:  Lately, I've loved Kylie Kardashian's lipsticks.  To capture the full lip look like Kylie, I filled in my lips with Lotus Berry lip crayon by Carmindy & Co. and outlined my lips with Cinnamon Swirl lipstick by No. 7.

Absolutely loving my new laptop skin from CaseApp.com!  The best part is I got to design it.  You can design your own skin or phone case too.  With the holidays around the corner, a customized phone case or skin makes a perfect holiday gift.  ♥
