My Style: Holiday Spirit

School is out and winter break is officially here.  You know what that means...so many blog posts, so little time!  For this look I wore a fab shift dress featuring edgy cutouts with a cool leatherette jacket complete with a mock sweatshirt attached - great for achieving the layered look while avoiding bulkiness.  Since winter is in full swing here in northern Arizona, finding the perfect winter accessories is a must; these patterned tights from silkes.com are perfect along with the cozy beanie and heeled booties.  I also had so much fun wearing the fashion glasses; see my review below.  If you aren't done with your holiday shopping or you need the cutest outfit for a festive party, check out fevrie and use the 25% discount code below.  I love getting discounts for my readers--Merry early Christmas and Happy Holidays!  Xoxo, Shelly

Firmoo Eyeglass Review: Although I do not need prescription glasses, I always jump at the opportunity to try a new accessory.  I enjoyed looking through all the options on firmoo.com.  The website is very user friendly, meaning easy to navigate, quality product photos, and honest blogger & customer reviews.  In addition to the online experience, the shipping is fast and the packaging is nice.  My pair of glasses came with a sturdy case, handy little screwdriver, and lens cloth.  The frames themselves are of great quality for an affordable price.  From my experience, I definitely recommend firmoo.com!  :)

My Style: Permanent December

Winter is here to stay in northern Arizona.  Brrrrrrrr!  To keep warm, I'm super loving these opaque tights from Wolford.  Talk about quality and unique designs; I chose the "Zip Tights" that have an ornamental zipper design down the back of each leg.  Besides the comfy tights, I'm wearing a beautiful black and white dress with sheer inserts from emmajoy.  I added a black faux leather jacket, a large cross pendant, a favorite shoulder bag, and luscious red hair extensions along with brown bang extensions.  Put on some pretty rings, including my new favorite ring from Jane Basch, and a silver bracelet and I was ready to go out for a night on the town with my friends and family.  I wore this outfit for dinner at a new local Thai food restaurant called Tara--BEST food ever!  Now, I'm headed into final exams this week--wish me luck!  Xoxo, Shelly

My Style: Burnt Bridges

Today's Look:  has attitude.  I'm all about people wearing what they want to and experimenting with mixing colors and textures and enjoying being bold.  This fall, I love wearing shorts with sheer tights and over-the-knee socks for warmth.  Add a beanie, plaid shirt, leather crop top, and combat boots and you are so ready for an awesome day.  The crop top from Charlotte Russe is exceptionally cool with sheer sleeves while the shorts from Petit Sesame have a sleek quilted detail.  Highlighting the grey in the plaid, I chose a soft grey bag by one of my favorite collaborators T-Shirt & Jeans, an excellent designer and manufacturer of affordable bags.  Also of special note is the pretty antiqued cuff bracelet also by Petit Sesame.  To win your very own identical bracelet, head over to my Instagram for instructions.  Lastly, I wore the Rock Star iHair reusable hair extensions in Wine Red made by Crisace Professional Hair Enhancement Systems.  P.S.  I had a blast driving around listening to music and exploring for new photo spots with my photographer.  We stumbled upon this grungy bridge and fell in love.  Remember to always keep a lookout for new adventures.  Xoxo, Shelly

My Style: Wild West

Today's Look:  is a perfect mixture of city grunge and western boho.  One of my favorite new closet additions is this fringe jacket.  The jacket has beautiful brown coloring so I kept the rest of the outfit monochromatic faded black.  I wore the softest v-neck top and high-waisted, shredded denim shorts. Since the weather is chilly, I wore distressed tights underneath my shorts.  Finishing off the look, I added chokers, platform boots, and the best crossbody bag.  Enjoyed a relaxing afternoon at a scenic lake, making the best afternoon, especially after a stressful week.  Xoxo, Shelly

Beauty Tip:  A quick, easy, & affordable way to add volume and thickness to your hair is by wearing Crisace iHair!  The hair extensions don't require weaving or hair appointments--you can easily put them in your own hair and go.  I am so impressed with the natural hair that can be curled, straightened, and shampooed.  Watch the video below to see how easy application of iHair is!
