My Style: Chicwish x Arizona Girl

Dreamy is the word that comes to mind when you put on this Chicwish mild baroque embroidered dress in ivory and a pair of over-the-knee, lace up boots.  I am so impressed with the quality and the fit of the dress.  I recently just graduated and I had been searching for the ideal dresses for celebratory  gatherings and the ceremony itself.  When this dress (and another one I will showcase soon) arrived, I knew I had found the perfect special occasion dresses.  For all girls looking for the perfect party dresses, I definitely recommend checking out Chicwish.  I do have to say to go by the measurements that are stated on their website( and not by your usual size) because they are right on.  :)

Also, at photoshoots lately I have been playing the most addicting playlist and I have received requests for the song list.  I added the playlist to the top of my blog to share with all of you as well!  I am in love with the new, the up-and-coming, and the ones that deserve to be remembered again.  Xoxo, Shelly

How to Style Fringe Jackets

Being a lover of bohemian style, I adore fringe jackets - well really fringe anything.  I teamed up with blogger babe Esmirna Tapia of Platforms for Breakfast to show our adored readers two different ways of rocking fringe jackets.  I chose a beachy festival vibe since warm weather is here, and summer is right around the corner.  I styled my heather gray jacket with a halter-topped lace dress, delicate beaded sandals, and a wide-brimmed black hat.  A statement necklace, colorful tribal print purse, and cool sunnies completed the ensemble.  Esmirna, one of my lovely fellow Teen Vogue Fashion Click bloggers, chose to show a stylish white-on-white fringe jacket and skinny jeans along with strappy heels and a striped top. Whether you're a chic city girl or a free-spirited boho babe, fringe jackets are a wardrobe must.  I would love to hear how you rock your fringe in the comments.  Xoxo, Shelly

P.S. Check out the new Others Follow Spring Lookbook for more amazing pieces like this pretty lace dress!

My Style: Black & Blue

Today's Look: has numerous amazing features.  The first is a handcrafted scarf by the ethically minded Elizabeth Koh company.  Elizabeth Koh scarves are made in Thailand with 10% of all profits donated to SOS Children's Village in Thailand, providing shelter, education, and a caring home environment to orphaned children.  In addition to partnering with Elizabeth Koh, I was honored to be asked to collaborate again with Others Follow with this beautiful lace dress. Both the scarf and the dress are quality and beauty combined--my kind of combo.  Highlighting the grey in the scarf, I accessorized with a grey tote from one of my favorite handbag companies T-Shirt & Jeans. To complete the styling, I chose a long, sweater cardigan, black sheer tights, chunky black boots, tarnished gold rings, and a cool buck bracelet. I know Halloween is coming up and some of you have emailed to ask me about Halloween costumes.  I'd love to hear what you'll be wearing.  I'm actually so busy with my college classes right now that I haven't even planned for Friday night! Hoping to hear about your outrageous costumes and fun parties in the comments, so I can live vicariously through you.  Xoxo, Shelly :)

Outfit Details: Scarf courtesy of Elizabeth Koh | Dress courtesy of Others Follow | Purse courtesy of T-Shirt & Jeans (sold at Gordmans & Burlington) | Cardigan courtesy of SirenLondon | Bracelet courtesy of Six Shooter Gifts | Boots from H&M | Tights from Dillard's | Leaf & Stacked Rings from Charming Charlie | Sparkly Ring from P.J. Chilcottage | Band from Aeropostale | Cross Ring from Maurices | Wrapped Ring from World Market

Fashion Tip: To stay warm on a brisk, fall day, I recommend a long cardigan, a scarf, and tights.  I'm able to wear a pretty, lace dress and still stay warm.  I'd love to hear how you keep away the chill factor during this cooler fall weather.

My Style: Red Rocks

Today's Look:  combines edgy leopard-print creepers with a charming burgundy lace dress.  The feminine cut contrasted with the funky shoes and sexy, sheer tights.  The temperature outside was cool, so I threw on a boyfriend sweater for warmth and comfort.  I was inspired by Minh Nguyen of Freshminhtea to create some art; it felt great to pick up ink and watercolors again.  I've been so into the graphic design world that it was nice to come back to sketching.

Outfit Details:  Dress courtesy of Poof! Apparel , Purse & Earrings courtesy of Charlotte Russe , Sweater by Express at express.com, Creepers by Wild Diva at urbanog.com, Tights by HUE at Dillard's, Headband at Claire's, Gold Ring from Premiere Designs.

Fashion Tip:   Lace dresses are very versatile and a wardrobe essential.   They can be dressed up for an evening out on the town or dressed down for everyday casual.

While enjoying Sedona's scenic view, I had to take a cheesy tourist photo.  ;)

My family and I enjoyed experiencing all Sedona has to offer.  We saw the gorgeous red rocks, loved shopping at Earthbound Trading Co., and enjoyed delicious food.

Along with great shops, Sedona has excellent restaurants!  I can verify that Taos Cantina serves dream-worthy chicken fajitas and bottomless homemade chips and salsa.  We discovered Taos Cantina by asking local retail vendors which restaurant they recommended for great Mexican food and 2 out of 3 recommended it as their first choice.

If you're in the Sedona area and craving Mexican food, the restaurant is located on the main strip of uptown Sedona and has outdoor eating under bright umbrellas as well as inside seating with views of the red rocks.

After dinner, my family and I made our way to find dessert.  We enjoyed a tasty, decadent brownie sundae at Sabrina’s Gourmet Ice Cream located in the Sedona Center, Canyon Breeze Restaurant.  Best brownie sundae—hint to the wise, one sundae can delight 3-4 people easily.  Definitely recommend the place!
