Khloe Kardashian x Arizona Girl

This weekend has been a whirlwind!  About two weeks ago, I was scrolling through my Instagram feed when I saw Khloe Kardashian had posted about a contest to meet her in Las Vegas on March 20th.  I am such a fan of the Kardashians, especially Khloe (honestly, she's my fave), so on a whim, I entered the contest.  I made sure to follow all the steps correctly and a day or so before the event, it was announced that I was the lucky winner!  I was in shock and over the moon excited!  The trip was all paid for and included travel, one night stay at the stunning Mirage Hotel, gourmet dinner at Stack, and VIP entrance into 1 Oak.

Instead of flying to Vegas, I decided to make a road trip to NV (stopping to see the Hoover Dam along the way) and had my brother, Billy Stuckman and my sister-in-law, Bianca Stuckman, meet me in Vegas.

We all arrived mid-day and had a blast exploring Vegas, seeing the beautiful Caesars Palace, wandering the Bellagio, and eating lunch at the famous Gordon Ramsay Burgr restaurant (BEST sweet potato fries ever).  After a full day, it was time to head back to the Mirage and get ready for the big night.

The restaurant had a special menu ready for us to select from when we arrived.  Each meal was delicious!  Bianca, my brother's wife, tried the Flat Iron while I opted for the Roasted Chicken and both were amazing.  For dessert, we tried the mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches with caramel dip and the jelly filled donuts with icing dip.  We were too nervous/excited about meeting Khloe to finish anything, but we sure did enjoy it.  haha  Fun fact:  Khloe and her friends had dinner right behind us!  They all walked in together and were all smiles.  The film crew was along for the night and will probably air the dinner on Keeping Up with the Kardashians someday.  I signed a waiver giving the film crew permission to show clips of me on the show.  Who knows if I will make the cut?  It would be fun though!

Bianca and I wore Charlotte Russe dresses ♡

After dinner, it was time to be escorted into the club's VIP section, waiting for Khloe while she walked the red carpet.  We met the club's social media manager and the owner.  Everyone was polite and looked forward to introducing me to Khloe.  The second Khloe entered the club, everyone was very aware.  The camera crew had lights on her, people started screaming with joy, and the energy immediately got insane.

Khloe and her friends had the VIP lounge right behind the DJ booth.  She brought her BFF's Malika and Khadijah Haqq, singer Cassie, model Dorian Renaud, actress Lauren London, and a few other close friends.

Once Khloe and her friends were comfortable in their lounge, I was escorted in and introduced.  Khloe immediately opened her arms and gave me a big hug.  She was so sweet and welcoming.  She complimented my style and I let her know her dress was gorgeous!  The photographers took multiple photos and the film crew captured the whole thing.  After the photos and talking, Khloe, being a classy hostess, asked me if I would like a drink.  I got to chat with Malika, while my drink was being made and she was so nice.  I thanked them all and spent the rest of the night dancing with my friends.  The club was packed!  The experience was unforgettable and I'm so thankful for the opportunity and memories.  Xoxo, Shelly

My Vegas Style: Aria Las Vegas

I'm turning the BIG "two-one" this October and in honor of this momentous occasion, I'm starting to plan my birthday bash.  What better place to celebrate turning 21 than Vegas?  The lights, the glamour, the shows, and the nightlife can't be beat.  Recently I was contacted by Vegas.com to style and imagine spending a glamorous day at the Aria Resort & Casino. So, I've created outfits from Polyvore.com and included resort photos from the Aria.com website to document my dream day in Las Vegas.

Above is my traveling look.  I like to be comfortable and chic, so that I don't feel under dressed on arrival.  In this outfit, I'd feel confident while touring the resort grounds and shopping at The Shops at Crystals, including every luxury brand boutique you could imagine like Gucci, Dior, Jimmy Choo, and Prada.  The Shops at Crystals are the Rodeo Drive of Vegas--in other words, my happy place.  Outfit details found here.

My next look for my day of fabulousness includes my must-have bikini of the summer by Triangl.  After a morning of shopping, I'd take a dip in one of the Aria Resort's refreshing pools and sip the fruitiest-girliest drink I could find on the poolside menu.  Outfit details found here.

After soaking up some sun at the pool, it's time to try out the amazing spa and workout facilities at the Aria Resort & Casino.   I would select one of the great workout classes, like spinning, yoga, and Pilates, or a personal trainer before enjoying a massage at the spa to relax and get ready for an exciting evening.  Outfit details found here.

After a nice relaxing morning and a great workout, I would get all dressed up in a sleek dress and sexy stilettos to go out to eat at the resort's five-star Japanese restaurant called BARMASA and to see the Cirque du Soleil show Zarkana.  Outfit details found here.

After dinner and a show, I would get dolled up to go to the casino and to dance the night away at the HAZE nightclub.  Outfit details found here.  I know that my 21st birthday will be awesome in Vegas.  I can't wait till October and to share my adventures with you all!  I'd love to know what you did or plan to do for your 21st birthday with your friends.  Xoxo, Shelly
